Rami Armon

Rami Armon is Head of Policy Research and MENA Initiatives on the investment team. Rami is responsible for analyzing policy changes and their potential impact on companies in the firm’s investment universe and advancing initiatives in the MENA region. Prior to joining Viking in 2020, Rami was the Managing Director for Economic & Policy Research at Glenview Capital Management, a Senior Vice President at Avalere Health, and the Senior Political Strategist at Lehman Brothers. Rami received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.A. in history from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, an M.A. in international affairs from Columbia University, and a B.A. in government from Harvard College. At Harvard, Rami was the recipient of the Derek C. Bok Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching of Undergraduates for courses in Middle East history and politics and a FLAS fellow. He was also a Zuckerman Fellow at Columbia University and a FLAS Fellow at Middlebury College’s Arabic Program. Rami is a CFA charterholder.
